Stephen James is an Emmy Award-winning VFX Supervisor at DNEG Vancouver. Stephen previously worked with Denis Villeneuve as a VFX Supervisor on the Academy Award®-winning "Dune: Part One." Stephen continued to work with Villeneuve on the highly regarded sequel, "Dune: Part Two," where he oversaw a worldwide VFX team spanning 1000 shots. Stephen was also recently overseeing part of DNEG's work on "Furiosa," a play by George Miller. Stephen oversaw the visual effects work on "The Last of Us: Season 1," for which he won an Emmy for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Season or a Movie" and a VES Award for "Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Episode."
