Nadine Asmar is a Lebanese director and screenwriter. She got her Bachelor's degree in Cinema and TV (Audiovisual) from the Lebanese University - Fine Arts Institute II and her Master's degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from Pantheon-Sorbonne University - Paris 1. She is a PhD candidate in Film Studies at the University of Western Brittany in France. L'aveugle de la Cathédrale / The Blind of the Cathedral (2015) is her graduation short film, a first-time adaptation of a novel by Farjallah Haik (the rights were obtained from Haïk's family).
