Barry Jenkins is an award-winning writer and director based in San Francisco. He is best known for writing and directing the 2016 film Moonlight, which won three Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The website ‘They Shoot Pictures, Don't They?’ lists Moonlight as the 22nd most acclaimed film of the 21st century.
